February has come and gone, and what a month it has been. I introduced my first ever comic to the world, and have been pleasantly surprised by the positive feedback. Benjy’s mission to make the world a more wholesome place is off to a good start.
I have been really inspired recently to start playing around with short 2D animations for Benjy. I am a 3D animator professionally, but as a Disney geek, I have always wanted to dive into the world of hand-drawn animation. I have chosen Blender’s Grease Pencil as my 2D animation software. There has been a bit of a learning curve, but I am getting to grips with it quite fast. I was hoping to have the first animation complete for this post, but I currently only have a short amount of free time to spend on it. I am hoping to have my first one ready by the end of March, so stay tuned!
